Lean Manufacturing Workstations
All the benefits of Bos Innovation’s imaginative multi-disciplined team approach are gleaned in the creation of custom manual assembly workstations, where appropriate

 for your lean manufacturing requirements. We’ll design and build your extruded aluminum or welded frame manual workstations and include complete component fixturing if necessary.
Our industry experience allows us to incorporate optimum efficiency, safety and ergonomic features with various work surface options, lift assist devices for heavy components and options such as bin pick part trays, bin stands, fast operator-adjustable height stations and/or chairs, fans, lighting, convenience receptacles, instruction boards.
Station can be 100% manual or have controls systems to monitor and prompt operator actions using methods such as bin pick sensors, messaging, task acknowledgement, sensor monitoring, reject chute monitoring, and more.

 Test Fixtures
Any manufacturing company’s reputation lives and dies on the integrity of its quality control. Bos Innovations can create any number of fixtures for testing product quality online or offline, specific to your unique processes.
Fixtures can be simple mechanical go/no go tests or can incorporate more sophisticated monitoring instrumentation such as vision systems, leak testing, eddy-current testing, press monitoring, motor performance testing, and much more.
Welding Fixtures
 Where manual welding fixtures are needed, Bos Innovations can come to the table with custom creations for maximum efficiency. We’ll provide complete designs using Solidworks 3D CAD and can use various materials including bronzed aluminum, stainless steel, and coated surfaces, as required.
Repeatable component positioning will be incorporated into the design, with options for pneumatic, hydraulic, or manual clamping. As always, we’ll pay special attention to the ergonomics involved in loading components and operation to minimize operator strain where applicable. If necessary, Motion integrated in the work bases for required part exposure will be incorporated.

Production Accessories

 In addition to the production machinery Bos Innovations can provide a number of production accessories for a completeproduction solution, including:
- Lift assist devices for heavy or awkward components
- Dunnage handling equipment such as lift & tilt tables, roller conveyor systems, rotate tables, etc.
- Tote gravity conveyors
- Cabinets for spare parts, calibration equipment, etc.
- Ergonomic mats (anti static), chairs, and footrests
- Extruded aluminum or fabricated quality control & SPC tables with lighting, receptacles, etc.
